Task Force: City Should Stop Fluoridation
A task force commissioned to determine whether or not the city of Fairbanks, Alaska should end water fluoridation has made its recommendation: END fluoridation.
The task force gave two main reasons for its determination - the city's water already contains naturally occurring fluoride and the current levels pose a health hazard to non-nursing infants.
The task force included includes scientists, a pediatrician and a dentist. The dentist advocated the continuation of fluoridation by completely ignoring the scientific studies that show fluoride to be a dangerous neurotoxin.
Henry's remarks go against decades of research which demonstrate that fluoride only works topically and can cause cancer, organ failure, low IQ, hyperactivity and other neurological problems when ingested.
Most dental societies receive money from the fluoride industry to ignore the science and parrot industry propaganda.
Henry also failed to mention that the chemical used by Fairbanks and for almost all water fluoridation is not the pharmaceutical grade of sodium fluoride used in toothpaste but hexafluorosilicic acid, an industrial toxic waste from the smoke stack scrubbers of phosphate fertilizer factories that has been shown to also contain arsenic, aluminum, lead and other harmful contaminants. No real safety testing has ever been done on hexafluorosilicic acid but it is known to be VERY TOXIC and as little as 7 drops is lethal for an adult.
A few more inconvenient truths that Dentist Henry doesn't want the public to know:
The Alaskan city of Juneau wisely decided to stop fluoridating its water about a year ago.

- Many communities with no fluoridation actually have better teeth with fewer cavities than those that do. Epidemiological data shows zero health benefits from water fluoridation and numerous health problems related to water fluoridation.
- The US FDA classifies fluoride as an "untested drug", recognizing that it has potentially adverse effects on humans.
